Martin Bogdan

Martin Bogdan is Policy and Project Coordinator, who first started working for ACA in 2019. He is the co-chair of ACA’s Thematic Peer Group “Widening Inclusion in Higher Education”, which is discussing the management of national and European funding to increase participation of underrepresented groups in international higher education.

He is coordinating ACA’s several projects on inclusion and societal engagement, as well as capacity building training series Inclusion ACAdemy for HEIs and NAs. From September 2024 he will be a member of EAIEs thematic committee on social responsibility.

Prior to ACA, Martin worked in the European Commission, in several NGOs working with open access policies, migrants, arts, and media. He also briefly taught in an international school.

Rita Dias, ESN

Rita is 28 years old and hails from the coast of Portugal. She holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science and International Relations and a Master’s in Public Policy. Rita completed her Erasmus in Leuven, Belgium, and gained professional experience working at the United States Embassy in Lisbon in 2018 and at the Political Observatory in the Association for Political Studies and Scientific Research in 2020.

Rita joined ESN in 2018 when she moved to Lisbon to begin her Master’s. She has held several positions within the network, including President of ESN Portugal and Liaison Officer for Inclusive Mobility. As President, she is responsible for the overall coordination of the organisation, as well as external relations, policy, and advocacy. Her main priorities include increasing participation in learning mobility and promoting civic engagement and youth participation through Erasmus.

Frauke Stebner, DAAD

Frauke is a biologist and paleontologist and has worked as a researcher at the University of Bonn and at the Natural History Museum Stuttgart. She has been working for the Erasmus+ program in the National Agency at the German Academic Exchange Service for almost 7 years. As Erasmus+ Inclusion Officer and Team Leader, she and her team have been responsible for the conception, coordination, and implementation of inclusion measures in Germany since 2021.

Henriette Stoeber, EUA.

Henriette Stoeber is a Policy Analyst in EUA’s Higher Education Policy Unit, where – amongst other things – she oversees all quantitative research projects and consultations. She is also in charge of EUA’s activities for students and researchers with a refugee(-like) or at-risk background.

Prior to joining EUA, she has worked as a research assistant at the Hungarian Rectors’ Conference and spent several years at the German Academic Exchange Service’s (DAAD) National Agency for Higher Education Cooperation, at the department responsible for the EHEA/Bologna Process.

She has also worked for the private sector in the United Kingdom. Henriette holds a Joint Master degree in European Public Policy from the University of York (UK) and Central European University (then – Hungary), where she specialised in the field of higher education policy.

Katrīna Sproģe, EUF

Katrīna Sproģe is a Policy Liaison at the European University Foundation (EUF), focusing on inclusive and accessible student mobility. She manages projects related to removing barriers for all students to access mobility programmes and carries out advocacy work towards European Stakeholders in Higher Education.

Working closely with higher education practitioners and experts provides her invaluable insights into the links between policy initiatives and their practical implementation. Before joining EUF, Katrīna was engaged in student representation from the local to the global level, concluding her mandate as Vice President of the European Students’ Union in the summer of 2023.
